At Busy Bee Care Providers, Inc., we provide Behavior Respite Services through the California Regional Center system. Our specially trained caregivers understand how to safely support individuals with behavioral challenges while giving primary caregivers time to rest, attend appointments, work, or care for other family needs.

Personalized care for your family

Every individual is unique, and so is every family. We work closely with parents, caregivers, and Regional Centers to provide services tailored to each individual’s authorized needs, preferences, routines, and level of support.

Safe and compassionate supervision

• Supervision based on the individual’s unique needs
• Support for health, safety, and well-being
• Established routines and daily schedules
• Calm responses to signs of behavioral escalation
• Approved support strategies identified by the family and authorized professionals
• Appropriate responses during emergencies

Personal care assistance

When authorized, caregivers may assist with bathing and hygiene, dressing and grooming, toileting and incontinence care, meal preparation and feeding, medication reminders, mobility assistance, and safe transfers.

Daily living support

We encourage independence while helping individuals remain comfortable and successful. Services may include assistance with meals and hydration, daily routines, light housekeeping related to the individual’s care, laundry and activity clean-up, and opportunities to practice independence when appropriate.

Meaningful activities

Respite is about more than supervision. Depending on the person’s interests and authorization, visits may include reading, arts and crafts, games, puzzles, music, hobbies, outdoor walks, recreation, conversation, companionship, and approved community outings.

Family communication

Caregivers document services and hours, report significant events or concerns, and communicate important updates with families and our care management team.
